Some of the phone pictures I took on our Vancouver trip. Starting from top left going clockwise:
1. View at night from the Vancouver Art Gallery roof balcony. We went on Tuesday night because it was donation-based admission.
2. BC roads, this I believe was just after Kamloops.
3. Panoramic view from George Wainburn park in downtown Vancouver.
4. Selfies taken in front of the Manitoba street sign at Manitoba and West Broadway .
5.View of South Vancouver from the Skytrain, just before Bridgeport Station.

On the back of Jamin’s recent PBS Game/Show episode on male stereotypes in games, new research emerges on what the average male actually looks like.

"With a sigh and gentle slouch of his shoulders he draws in a ragged breath, the wooden bar creaking as he does. ‘Look kid, one day you’ll figure it out. Few people in this world are irreplaceable, and the ones who aren’t, well, you’ll learn to live without them too.’ In a swift, practiced motion his finishes his drink and tucks in his chair. Patting his hat to his head, he bids her goodnight."

"Look ma, no head!"
Finally got around to removing the pesky display off my laptop server, it was not nearly as involved as I feared. There were a fair amount of snap tabs along the edges of the case though, but otherwise a small cross head and a bowl were the only real tools required for the disassembly. Hopefully now it will run cooler and not shut down from over heating (at least, this is my theory), plus it will be a little easier to control XBMC running on it if I have remote issues. This one will be running XBMC, iTunes (though considering switching to maybe MediaMonkey or something less resource intensive) CouchPotato, SickBeard and uTorrent (with files being pushed to a house NAS box.
Will probably buy an LCD controller in the future and doing something with the display (it is 15”), sort of would like a digital info display if I paired it with a RaspPi/Arduino.
